U. of Michigan | Segregated Cafes Based on Skin Color!

As the famous racist & segregationist Democratic Governor George Wallace one said:  “segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever.”  He might have been right.  The Democratic Party seems to be reverting to form!

JIM CROW II
The University of Michigan-Dearborn Center for Social Justice and INCLUSION shared on social media that they will be hosting twice-monthly virtual gatherings called “cafes” which are segregated by skin color.Yep, one for whites, one for people of color. Separate.

Non-POC & BIPOC

You read that right, a “non-POC,” or what could correctly be called a “whites only” cafe, designed for white people to discuss their experiences on campus and in the world. Given the nature of the social justice movement, this is likely a self-flagellation session for guilt-ridden white students.

NYC SHOOTINGS: Five Shot as Communities Band Together to Stop Violence

Five people were shot overnight in Manhattan, Bronx and Queens with citywide violence continuing unabated.

The latest shootings follow Wednesday afternoon’s gang violence in Flatbush in which a teenager was killed and another man was wounded in a broad-daylight attack.

The slain teenager was identified this morning as Malcomb Amede of Lefferts Avenue. He and a 31-year-old man were shot yesterday afternoon at Woodruff Avenue and Ocean Avenue in Flatbush – an area that has seen three homicides and at least six people shot over the past month.

A gun found on at the scene may have belonged to one of the victims in the shooting possibly to defend themselves from the assailant who escaped in a silver BMW X-5 who’s license plate appears to have been removed prior to the shooting.

CHICAGO | 107 People Killed in July! Most Violent Month in 28 years

At least 570 people were shot during the month, about 250 more than July of last year, according to the Tribune’s data.

Nearly 40 people were shot in Chicago over the weekend as the most violent month in 28 years came to a close.

At least 107 people were killed in July, more than double the same month last year, according to data kept by the Tribune. That’s the most homicides the city has seen since in a single month since September of 1992, when 109 were recorded.

Most of the people died from gunshot wounds, but at least six people died from stabbings, three from strangulation, two from child abuse and two from assault, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Four Tankers Carrying Iranian Oil ‘Confiscated’ By Trump’s DOJ

Might be some fireworks in the Persian Gulf.  Stayed tuned.

For the first time, the United States confiscated cargo in ships loaded with Iran fuel in violation of sanctions and it was the largest confiscation of its kind from anywhere. At the beginning of July, the DOJ sued to get permission to seize the four tankers of oil that Iran was sending to Venezuela. The court gave the DOJ the go-ahead and the US Centcom seized the ships on Aug. 12th.

Per the Wall Street Journal

The four vessels—Luna, Pandi, Bering and Bella—were seized at sea in recent days and are now en route to Houston, the officials said. Senior administration officials are expected to meet the tankers in the coming days at an event scheduled to mark the docking, the officials said. A spokesman for the Justice Department declined to comment.

This shipment was united two countries being sanctioned by America, Iran and Venezuela. The purpose of the seizure was to raise the pressure on each of the two rogue regimes.   The U.S. had been warning shipping companies that their sips were in danger if they kept dealing with the two countries.

South Korea to Build F-35B Lightning Aircraft Carrier

America can use all the help we can get.  China is becoming increasingly militarized and bombastic.  Building a larger Navy and threatening the commercial interests of the South Koreans and Japanese.  We need our allies to step up, these are good first steps.

South Korea’s 2021-2025 defense blueprint, which was revealed yesterday, provides fresh details on the plans to develop an aircraft carrier capability for the Republic of Korea (RoK) Navy. The LPX-II project will be a dedicated light aircraft carrier for F-35B; it will not be an amphibious assault ship.

The LPX-II program originally meant to be an amphibious assault ship similar to the U.S. Navy’s Wasp-class of big deck amphibious warships, has now been officially revealed as a dedicated light aircraft carrier project. This means LPX-II will not have amphibious support capability — no well deck — and the vessel will be dedicated to air operations, with F-35B and rotary wings. The configuration is more like the first two amphibious warships in the U.S. America-class.

Policing: Neighborhood Patrols are Failures

You cannot have a functioning society without a police force.  Free citizens will take matters into their own hands and “vigilantes” will replace.  Americans WILL protect their homes and their loved ones.  Justice will be done – either the civil way, or via the “laws of the jungle”.

“When the dawn patrol’s got to tell you twice, they’re gonna do it with a shotgun.” That’s a lyric from Steely Dan, but it also reflects what seems to be a new trend in two of America’s bluest cities: The replacement of police with civilian militias. (The press prefers to call them “neighborhood patrols” since they’re in Democratic cities).

There are some people who might favor this as a step forward for civil rights and racial justice, but the facts to date don’t support such a reading. In two cities where the police have pulled back from urban areas, they’ve been replaced by armed gangs demanding protection money, increased violence and, yes, prejudice against people who “don’t belong.”Anyone with a brain and a bit of historical knowledge could have seen this coming, which is no doubt why it eluded so much of our political class.
